A passion for providing great food and service in an entertaining atmosphere, J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences alumnus, Mark Henry, ’92 will be bringing that combination to the 2015 Hog Wild Tailgate season.

The key to this season’s menu is quality and freshness, Henry said.

From hotdogs and third-pound hamburgers cooked fresh from the grill to fresh-fried catfish and some of Arkansas’ best BBQ to homemade chili on a cold game day, this year’s menu is sure to please. And for those early games, a home-style breakfast will be featured with fresh bacon, sausage and of course you cannot forget a southern classic … biscuits and gravy!

Henry has spent the last 30 years in northwest Arkansas in the service industry, and almost half of that time has been spent at Catering Unlimited. Henry opened the Catering Unlimited doors in 2002, with only one employee. Fast forward 13 years and his staff has grown to 12 full-time employees and 25 part-time event specialists; growing year after year.

“The success of Catering Unlimited is 100 percent attributed to our employees and the team that we have grown to be. With their hard work and dedication, we have been able to provide outstanding food quality and impeccable service to thousands of people all over the great state of Arkansas,” Henry said.

Henry has worked with the Arkansas Alumni Association for the last 10 years. Some of the events that his team has catered include everything from hors d’oeuvres to luncheons to the Alumni Awards Banquet, Black Alumni Society Reunion and Walter J. Lemke Department of Journalism awards. Henry believes that being part of such a great tradition at the U of A, while building strong bonds with alumni through food and fellowship, makes working with the Alumni Association a good partnership.

“Over the years the Alumni Association has been an important aspect in the growth of our business and we are proud to be a part of such a great organization and are truly looking forward to the upcoming 2015 season,” Henry said.

The Arkansas Alumni Association and Catering Unlimited teams look forward to seeing all of the alumni and friends at the upcoming Hog Wild Tailgates. Attendees have the option to pre-purchase a catered meal the Tuesday prior to the Hog Wild Tailgate date. The catered meal also includes drink or Shake’s Frozen Custard tickets. Those who do not purchase in advance, can pay at the door at an increased cost, however walk-up meal tickets are limited.
