LaTonya FosterThe Black Alumni Society salutes LaTonya Foster BA’96, president-elect. Foster is a consultant III, performance management for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. She provides consulting on performance management processes for Walmart Stores’ field management and hourly associates. Foster also is responsible for processes, tools and technology needed to support the performance management process cycles for Walmart Stores’ field population greater than 1 million associates.

Foster has served as the BAS strategic planning chair. She also serves on the BAS 2015 Reunion Entertainment Committee. She is instrumental in assisting the Arkansas Alumni Association National Board of Directors with professional development workshops. Recently, Foster assisted Angela Mosley Monts, outreach and engagement director, in presenting “Building Your Personal Branding Tools” to more than 35 students attending “Campus to Careers” workshops.

She is very active in the community. Foster is active with Greek Life on the U of A campus. She serves as the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. advisor for the U of A undergraduate chapter. She also serves on the board of directors for the local graduate chapter (in roles such as president and vice president,) as well as on the state level for the Arkansas Board for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. as the historian. Foster has been voted by the U of A National Pan-Hellenic Chapters, as the UA National Pan-Hellenic Advisor of the Year. She also has received the Award of Excellence: Zeta of the Year. She faithfully serves on the Special Events Team at St James Missionary Baptist Church.
