A Message from the BAS Scholars Board

Dear Alumni and friends,

My name is Kentrell Curry, and I am a junior graphic design major from West Memphis, Ark.  I decided to come to the University of Arkansas for multiple reasons: the scenery was amazing on my first visit, and the weather was even better. I also fell in love with how nice and welcoming everyone was; they made me feel right at home! The most impactful and memorable experience that made my decision to attend the YOU of A a sure thing was the welcoming spirit of the Razorback community. Woo Pig Sooie!

I would like to thank all of the alumni who helped make my dreams come true. Had it not been for me receiving the BAS scholarship, I am not sure that I would be able to attend this flagship university. I would like to show my gratitude by saying thank you to all that have contributed to scholarships. Thank you for everything that you have done for me and my fellow scholars; we greatly appreciate all of your effort!

I was selected to serve as the communications chairperson for the BAS Scholars board, so I will be here to keep you all updated on everything that the scholars are doing in and for the Razorback community. Follow us on twitter @bassociety or friend us on Facebook!

See you all soon, and Go Hogs!!
