Hembree Alumni House overflowed with Pride & Passion as over 600 Razorback fans joined us for the Eastern Michigan vs. Arkansas Homecoming Pre-Game Rally and Membership Appreciation Day.

In Memoriam: Eric Montgomery Mackey

Reverend Dr. Eric Montgomery Mackey of Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 25, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center after a long medical illness. He was born July 20, 1956 in Marvell, Ark. He graduated from the University of Arkansas and received a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Michigan.

Academic Workshops Help Legacy Scholars Excel

The Alumni Association partnered with the Enhanced Learning Center to offer academic workshops for new Legacy Scholarship recipients on Oct. 13-15 at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. Legacy Scholars receive a waiver of non-resident tuition and must maintain a 2.75 GPA for renewal each year. The Alumni Association recognizes that the key to retaining the Legacy Scholarship is establishing a strong GPA the first semester.
